2.1.2 PRIMARY DATA
• Extensive primary research was conducted after acquiring knowledge about the flow cytometry market scenario through secondary research. More than 60 primary interviews were conducted from both the demand( flow cytometry services companies, cancer research laboratories, hospitals, research universities, and government laboratories) and supply sides( flow cytometry products manufacturers and distributors). The primaries interviewed for this study include experts from the flow cytometry industry, such as CEOs, VPs, directors, sales heads, and marketing managers of tier 1, 2, and 3 companies engaged in offering flow cytometry products and services across the globe; administrators and purchase managers of flow cytometry products; and academic research institutes. Approximately 72 % and 28 % primary interviews were conducted from demand and supply side, respectively. This primary data was collected through questionnaires, mails, and telephonic interviews.
