Junior Service League of St. Augustine Annual Gala
The Junior Service League (JSL) hosts their annual Gala at 6 p.m.
in the historic Lightner Museum. Festivities begin with cocktail
hour, followed by dinner, dancing, silent and live auctions, live
entertainment and performances throughout the evening. Tickets
are $135. The JSL is a non-profit organization supporting numerous
community service projects in St. Johns County. 75 King St.,

Free Pirates & Plunder Tours
Arrrgh... are you ready for adventure? The Pirates & Plunder Historic
Walking Tour is fun, entertaining, and appropriate for the whole
family- as well as anyone with a love for the romance and the
harsh reality of this bygone era. Your maritime stroll will take in the
beautiful historic sites of downtown and include the little-know
St. Augustine pirate folklore that makes this area unique. Tours are
free and may be booked online. Tours depart at 6:15 p.m. from the
Tour St. Augustine office, 4 Granada St., St. Augustine.

A Taste of the Beach
Annual ‘taste-fest’ with the crowd and judges selecting the coveted
“Best of the Beach” restaurant at the end of the evening. Admission
is free and taste tickets sell for $1 each. The Taste of St. Augustine
Beach takes place from noon - 5 p.m. at St. Augustine Beach
Pier Pavilion. Live music, beer, wine, soft drinks and food will be
available. Proceeds benefit the Betty Griffin House, a shelter for
women and children who are victims of domestic violence.
