Taking the Plunge: Enlistment in the Spanish Garrison
In recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Castillo de San
Marcos presents a special ticketed event in which visitors follow in
the steps of a young Spanish boy who enlists in the Spanish Garrison
of St. Augustine to defend his home, family and country. Separate
fee applies for this event: $8 for adults (age 16 and over); $4 for
children (ages 5-15); free for children under 5. Reserve tickets in

The Pellicer Creek Raid: A Civil War Reenactment
History really comes alive in this Civil War re-enactment and battle
at the Florida Agricultural Museum. Visit with cavalry, artillery and
infantry troops in their authentic camps. Listen to their stories about
the life and times in 1864 Florida. Period clothing and other items
will be available for purchase. It all takes place from 10 a.m. to 5

Suzanne Vega at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall
