Concerts in the Plaza (June 1 – September 3)
Reminiscent of days gone by when friends and families would gather
on an early summer evening to listen to music in the town square,
Concerts in the Plaza brings a wide variety of musical entertainment
to St. Augustine’s historic downtown all summer long. From 7 – 9
p.m. every Thursday a popular band performs. Free and open to the

Every Friday, Saturday & Sunday:
Historic Weapon Demonstrations at Castillo de San Marcos
National Parks Service volunteers and personnel demonstrate
the weapons and relate the experiences of the Colonial Spanish
soldier stationed in St. Augustine in the 1740s. Demonstration times
are 10:30 and 11:30 a.m., 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. Admission is $7 for
adults; Children 15 and under are free. The Castillo is open 8:45 a.m. 5:15 p.m. daily. www.nps.gov/casa.
Every Saturday:
Musket Firing Demonstrations at Fort Matanzas
Reenactors fire flintlock muskets at Fort Matanzas National
Monument 12:30 - 3:30 p.m. Admission is free including the ferry
ride to and from the island. Fort Matanzas is located at 8635 A1A, 15

Old City Farmers’ Market
Features locally grown fresh produce, baked goods, plants and more.
Located at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. Open 8:30 a.m. - 12:30

First Fridays:
First Friday Art Walk
From 5 - 9 p.m. on the first Friday of every month, the Art Galleries
of St. Augustine feature new exhibits, refreshments and live music
at more than 20 galleries. The event is held rain or shine inside the
member galleries and is a free, self-guided walking tour (tour maps
available at participating galleries). Plus, free Art Walk Trolleys and
Trains provided by St. Augustine Sightseeing Trains and Old Town
Trolleys, provide transportation throughout downtown for the art
