National Park Week
National Park Week is America’s largest celebration of national heritage. It’s
about making great connections, exploring amazing places, discovering open
spaces, enjoying affordable vacations and enhancing America’s best idea -
the national parks! It’s all happening in our national parks. Plan your visit by

weekends, admission is free into every national park, including the Castillo de

EPIC Celebration of Spring Annual Flower & Garden Expo
Growers, educational seminars, nurseries and artisans from around the state
offer gardeners everything they need to make spring bloom. The expo takes
place Saturday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the St. Johns County
Agricultural Center. General admission is $5, and youth admission is free.

St. Augustine Plein Air Paint Out
Hosted by the St. Augustine Art Association, the St. Augustine Plein Air Paint
Out is an eight-day, community-wide plein air event throughout St. Augustine to
celebrate the area’s history. Selected works will be featured in the St. Augustine
Plein Air Exhibition from May 4-27 at the St. Augustine Art Association.
The cost to participate in the paint out is $45. Admission to view the exhibition

Marsh Walk
Explore the Anastasia Marsh Trail at Anastasia State Park with a park ranger
and learn about the importance of estuarine systems that surround the inshore
sides of barrier islands from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Suggested items to bring are
binoculars, comfortable walking shoes, a camera, drinking water, bug spray
and sunscreen. Meet in front of the ranger station. This event is weather
permitting and subject to cancellation. The walk is free with regular park
