Evenings at Whitney
Duane Mitchell, Phyllis Kottler Friedman Professor at Lillian S. Wells
Department of Neurosurgery, director of Cancer Therapeutics and Immuno-
Oncology at UF Health Cancer Center, and co-director of Preston A. Wells,
Jr. Center for Brain Tumor Therapy, will be the guest speaker. His talk is
about immunotherapy approaches to cancer therapy. The lecture series is
free and open to the public. Registration or reservations are not necessary.

Fins and Freedom Sail
Schooner Freedom Charters and Marineland Dolphin Adventure, the
dolphin experts, are bringing a one-of-a-kind sailing experience. Guests will
hear from Marineland educators about the world’s first oceanarium. Also,
guests will learn about dolphins and the conservation efforts at Marineland.
Complimentary beverages included. Passengers may bring snacks or a
picnic. Ticket price includes the sail and admission into Marineland. The boat
departs at 2:15 p.m. from the St. Augustine Municipal Marina and lasts two
hours. Ticket costs are $60 adults and $45 for youth under age 16.

This 5K race begins at 8 a.m., and the course is fast, flat and fun. The
race starts in front of the St. Johns County Pier and takes runners through
