Farm Brunch and Pumpkin Chunkin Family Festival
Celebrate America’s original Farm to Fork corridor; Since 1565, with a
day full of family fun activities – and eats. Enjoy a special brunch featuring
local-grown fare, fly a kite, take a bike tour, visit the petting zoo, watch the
Pumpkin Chunkin’ (catapulting pumpkins for cattle feed) and enjoy down-
home music. It all takes place from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the 22-acre Rype and
Ready Farm in Elkton. Admission is free. Brunch tickets are $20 adults and
$7.50 for kids until Oct. 21- then $25 for adults and $10 for kids. Bike tour

Spoonbills and Sprockets Cycling Tour
Experience the beautiful A1A Scenic Byway by bike. The tour starts in
Marineland and consists of cycling routes that pass through historic
St. Augustine, the Hammock and Flagler Beach. The race has 36, 72 or 100
mile routes and takes place from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. A catered lunch is available
to riders at the end of the race. The cost to register ranges from $70-$40.

Fall 2017 St. Augustine Record Fair
The St. Augustine Record Fair, presented by local record store ToneVendor
and the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, will be held 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at the
St. Augustine Amphitheatre. The fair is a free, family friendly event and is
open to the public. Music lovers and collectors are invited to shop thousands
of music-related items, including new and used vinyl records, CDs, posters,
turntable equipment and supplies, memorabilia, collectibles and more.
DJ sets by Ancient Deep will take place throughout the day. Food and
beverages will be available for purchase from food trucks and the
Amphitheatre Concessions. There will also be fun activities for the entire
family, including arts and crafts as well as face painting. 1340 A1A South,

Great Chowder Debate
The Great Chowder Debate competition benefits Big Brothers and Big Sisters
of St. Johns County. Participating restaurants compete for the best Chowder
in five categories: Minorcan Conch, Minorcan Clam, New England Clam,
Seafood Chowder, and Non-Seafood Chowder. It all takes place at the Conch
House Marina and Resort from noon-4 p.m. Guests can taste and vote on
chowder prepared by 40 of the best restaurants in the St. Augustine area. The
event will also have live music. Admission is free and tastes are is $1 each.
