Using flash is tricky, but the settings and exposure techniques are fully explained and demon- strated. The students learn how to make beautiful fill flash, how to use one light on camera for easy and simple portraits and how to use one off camera with radio remotes for more control with the direction of light. Bobbi provides the photographer with essential lighting techniques and hands on supervised shooting time with models to help each individual.  ***Participants should have good camera skills and at least one flash that can be used TTL.  Suggested Gear List: Medium telephoto lens (85mm or longer for full frame, 60mm or longer for crop frame), portable flash, any light modifiers, and bring your manual! Medium zoom is handy such as 24-70mm or 24-105mm for full frame, 16-55mm for crop sensor. Price: $100 | Max No. People: 15 | Difficulty Level: Beginner to Advanced  Portraits Unplugged is all about natural light, nothing technical or mechanical with reflectors and diffusers as our only tools. Bobbi teaches you how to find and work with natural light to make flattering and dynamic portraits of any subject.  The beauty of available light is its ability to describe your subject from powerful and strong to soft and creamy. We work on capturing the essence of the people by the use of posing, expressions, tonality, composition, color, backgrounds and props. Bobbi shows you how to work with all kinds of light: hard, soft, bounced, window, “garage door” reflected, diffused, etc. Supervised shooting with models.  Suggested Gear List: Medium telephoto lens (85mm or longer for full frame, 60mm or longer for crop frame). Medium zoom is handy such as 24-70mm or 24-105mm for full frame, 16-55mm for crop sensor. *Also recommended that participants take the Friday 10AM “Portraits Unplugged” Photo Seminar as a prerequisite.   Portraits Unplugged | Photography Seminar   Horses on the Beach with Fujifilm (co-leader, Lee Varis) | Field Workshop  Location: Celebration Hall at St. Anastasia, 5205 A1A South   Location: Frank B.
