Limit Breaks And You

Did Someone Say "Mechanics?

This is a tricky battle – with quite a few mechanics each player must handle correctly to avoid “oh noe”s. It is also a step-up in the amount of DPS required to clear a battle (on release was very tight). Luckily these mechanics are all introduced along the fight, all coming together in the final phase where you will be tested. The main way to handle this is with a lot of practice!

Every phase after the first one will bring additional enemies (adds). These actually hit very hard and must be taken by the off-tank while the party burns them down as soon as possible so we can re-focus on the boss. Yes… Mechanics will also be going off also while the adds are up – focus-Target boss to help you see what they are up to.

During this fight there will be a lot of limit break available – and they should be used wisely.

It is possible to clear this relying on a healer limit-break! During training healer LB is handy to keep the party going onto see further phases – Never say never!

You will also acquire limit-break from certain mechanics. If the party succeeds on the “Animal Farm” game during the Library Phase you will get a full 3 bars to use again. You can also acquire 1.5 bars of lb by silencing the Iron Giant’s casting.
