Applying Floor Marking Tape
Even the best floor marking tape can fail prematurely if not applied correctly, most
commonly because the floor was not adequately cleaned.
These steps will help ensure the best results:
1. Remove materials and equipment from the section of floor to be taped.
2. Vacuum or sweep to remove debris.
3. Clean floor thoroughly with soap and water, or other cleaning solution such
as alcohol if need to remove any residues.
4. Allow the floor to dry completely.
5. Use a length of string or laser guide for long straight lines.
6. Apply tape by hand, or use a dedicated application tool like the Creative
