Fin Care

101

We have all been there at the water's edge and realize our fins were not ready for a day on the water. Our fins are very important to our time on the water so we should do this basic thing to be sure they are always ready for our fishing trips.

Basic Steps for Fin Care:

1. After any outing be sure to rinse your fish completely with clean water. Be sure to wash off the saltwater dirt, sand and grim as this will degrade your fins and straps over time.

2. Allow fins to completely dry but not in direct sunlight and never store them in a box or carry bag if they are wet.

3. When your fins are dry, store your fins flat on a shelf so that the fin blade does not end up folding wrong. If not stored right you could end up with a permanent bend in your blade.

4. Finally be sure to place the foot pocket insert to help keep the shape of the fin foot pocket.

All these steps will provide your fins a longer life and better comfort for you on the water.
