The Ned Rig
Let’s talk about the do nothing, slow moving, how does it work, setup? The Ned Rig do you use it and should you be using it that is what we are going to look at.
What is the Ned Rig? It's a finesse fishing technique which uses small stubby plastic worms, and or creature baits with light Gopher Tackle Jigs, Mushroom type Jig Heads and similar styles. (Hint: the lure you choose should be buoyant to work best.) This allows the jig to hit the bottom and stand up when you bounce it off the bottom and then returns to a standing position very slowly or try the Dead Stick Method. Really you can fish this in many different ways just need to find what works best for your conditions.
