Question: What type of tube do you use and what do you like best about it?
Answer: I used several tubes, i started with a Ron Thompson, a green ugly donut where i sat inthe water up to my crotch, after that i bought a Guidline drifter, that was one of the best floattubes at that moment. V-shape, canvas with separate inflatable tubes wich you could take out, a bit higher in the water. We used pvc pipes and two plastic cuttingboards on each side as small tables. Left my fishfinder and on the right an extra rodholder. It was an awesome floattube but you need to inovate and I changed to a pvc floattube, a Floatmaster with a Floatplus engine underneath. Floatmaster was one of the first pvc floattubes with Berkley and Mac fishing in the Netherlands, but the only one with 3 seperate airchambers in the tube so really safeif one leaking, 0.9mm pvc, so a strong boat, but also a light boat. And for me it was Floatplus ready so i could easily place my Floatplus motor underneath without having to place an extra engine mount at the back.
Question: What is your personal best catch from the tube?
Answer: Pike 120 cm Zander (European walleye) 103cm Perch 48cm and the last but not least a
catfish from 160 cm
