he cinema of United States is referred to as Hollywood. It has
made a big impact on cinema across the whole world ever since
the early 20th century. Auguste and Louis Lumière are the creators
of modern cinema, it was the cinema of Hollywood which became a
dominant force in the film industry.
The first ever Hollywood film was shot in Los Angeles. It was
directed by D.W. Griffith
D.W. Griffith’s Birth of a Nation pioneered world wide
filmmaking.
