If there is one master of telling cross cultural stories, it has to be Quentin Tarantino in my opinion. A masterful screenplay of parallel plans to assassinate the Fuhrer, the leader of the Nazi Germans.

With classy performances from the ensemble cast, it is difficult to pin-point one single strength of the movie though Christopher Waltz came out with the critically acclaimed Supporting Actor role. An absolute guide on how to depict attention to details in movies. The movie travels from the Jew hunting spree of Lt. Hans Landa to the notorious Jewish-American gang of Basterds who, a few years later, are on their spree of wiping out Nazis. The movie culminates in how the assassination happens with parallel plans from the Basterds and a theatre operator Shoshanna, the young woman who as a child escaped from the Jew Hunter’ s attacks.
