With romance, love for your home football
team, dysfunctional family issues and
internal struggles, the audience can
personally connect to the audience. The
film strays away from a lot of the elements
of the book, making a lot of changes. Most
readers would hate to see that happen, as it
has been displayed in the case of even the
acclaimed Harry Potter series, but with Silver
Linings Playbook, these changes have made
the film a lot more enjoyable. The depth
of the characters in the film was very well
displayed, and also spoke about elements
of prevalent racism, which weren’t present in
the book, and the humour is constant and
present in the film even in the most serious of
situations, which makes it all in all enjoyable.

It is well known that even the book was a
fictionalized account of the actual events behind
the creation of Facebook. With that established,
David Fincher does a great job at exploiting the
scenarios and points of view that the book failed
to explain. The book is told through the eyes
of Eduardo Saverin, one of the co-founders of
Facebook who was ousted and later sued the
company. The movie takes multiple viewpoints, of
all the people involved, including Mark Zuckerberg,
the CEO and founder of Facebook, The Winklevoss
twins and Sean Parker(who was fabulously played
by Justin Timberlake).
