Wes Anderson’ s films are known for his distinctive use of colours and his narrative style. His films emphasize more on colour palettes. Most efforts in his films lie with the production designer and scenic designer. Anderson uses colors in his set and production design to create a world unlike known to the viewer. His production designer Adam Stockhausen, comes into the production with a specific set of colour palette relating to the mood of the film. Then using that palette they work off with the colours which work well in contrasting the presence of these colours. In an interview with Stockhausen, he revealed the following process behind“ The Grand Budapest Hotel” –
