FUNDAMENTALS OF PERSONAL FINANCE
A NEW GLMS PROGRAM FOR RESIDENTS
There are countless financial questions for residents to consider as
they begin their careers. How do I pay down my debt? Why is paying
the minimum amount each month not an effective strategy? Should
I close my old credit cards? What is an appropriate emergency fund
for a resident? GLMS is offering a brand new program for first year
residents to answer those questions and dozens more.
Fundamentals of Personal Finance is a 90-minute course designed
to give residents the most essential facts regarding budget management, setting realistic financial goals, strategizing for long term
financial health and more. Ted Wight, of Martin/Wight & Co. LLC,
will be the evening’s speaker.
