Held at 10 a.m. on Sunday, September 11, at the Louisville Marriott East,
GLMS members will meet to discuss
statewide resolutions. Those will be voted upon at the KMA House of Delegates immediately following the caucus. Active, life and in-training members are eligible to participate as GLMS Delegates
to the KMA.
This year, GLMS will submit 10 resolutions to the House for consideration. These resolutions discuss
a wide range of important health care topics. We urge you to come support GLMS, your patients and
fellow physicians as GLMS puts forward resolutions involving:

KAPER-1 (notarized photo ID for credentials verification)
•
Restrictive Covenants
•
Strategic Plan for Physician Education and Resources in Treating Addiction
•
Recognition of the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons as an Alternative for Board
Certification
•
Reduce Consumption of Sugar-Sweetened Beverages in Kentucky
•
Reduce Cost of Prescription Medications
•
Triennial Medical License Renewal
•
Maximizing the Physician Workforce
•
Opposing Contractual Threats to Patients and Professionalism

GLMS delegates have the opportunity to lend their voice to each resolution they feel passionate
about during the Caucus and House of Delegates meetings. More information and updates regarding each resolution will be provided during the GLMS Caucus.
