GLMS hosted the third annual GLMS Medicaid Roundtable on
Thursday, April 14 at the Old Medical School. There, practice administrators and physicians were able to discuss coverage issues
with MCO providers in an intimate setting.
Medicaid MCO representatives in attendance included Anthem
Kentucky Medicaid, Aetna Better Health, Humana Care Source,
Passport Health Plan, WellCare and the Department of Medicaid
Services.
“This is a chance for one-on-one interaction with people you may
only know through a telephone call or an e-mail communication.
It puts a face to a name,” said Jessica Williams, GLMS Director of
Member and Client Services.

University of Louisville medical students were given the opportunity to learn firsthand what it takes to be a physician during this
year’s annual Specialty Speed Networking event hosted by GLMS.
Ten physicians from a variety of specialties volunteered their time
and wisdom to answer questions raised by first and second-year
students during successive rapid fire, eight minute sessions.
Thank you to all the physicians who took time to speak to these
medical students about their careers. If you’re interested in being
