Logan City Council ' s City Fleet team was recognised for embedding safety into every aspect of its operations through a structured five-year safety transformation program. Moving beyond compliance, the organisation created a mature, system-led approach to fleet safety driven by leadership engagement, workforce participation and technology-enabled risk management.
Fast Facts
• Achieved 447 consecutive Lost Time Injury( LTI)-free days.
• Reduced insurance claims by 97.5 %, from 163 claims in 2020 to just four claims by February 2026.
• Recorded zero LTIs in 2025 and year-todate 2026.
• Increased safety observations by three times, demonstrating stronger reporting culture and workforce engagement.
• Implemented telematics, dash cameras, safety dashboards and executive-led hazard hunts across operations.
