Day 2

Day 2

FLEETDRIVE
Day 2 of the Fleet Summit started with a bang! Keynote speaker Evelina Bereni asked the audience to resonate with the frequency of their surroundings and circumstances, encouraging them to adapt and inspire resilience in a changing world.
Next, we held the inaugural Women in Fleet Management Award, celebrating the career and work of winner, Theresa Labuschagne of KiwiRail. This award is meant to highlight women in fleet who highlight and inspire fellow women in the industry. Congratulations again, Theresa!
Emcee Lisa Panarello also gave an inspirational talk called,“ MIND OVER MILES.” She discussed how burnout isn’ t a one-time-big-time event; it’ s a culmination of both the little things and the big things over a period of time. Traits like perfectionism, people-pleasing, and lack of boundaries build up to become burnout over time and eventually drain us. Lisa urged the audience to move around the world with intention and purpose.
The last talk of the day featured a workshop by Yolande McLean of FleetGuru and Chris Martin of GeoTab. Addressing managers and business leaders, they guided audiences through the process of turning notes into strategic plans and decisions with the help of AI.
Lastly, Michael Friend and Mace Hartley closed out the entirety of our biggest Summit yet. Expressing gratitude for everyone, attendees and speakers alike, they hope all were able to maximise their power to connect.
AfMA extends its sincere thanks to our event partners, sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, and attendees. Your support, expertise, and commitment to the industry helped make this year ' s event our biggest and most impactful yet. We hope to see you all again next year where we evolve beyond connection!
