2025 Achievements
In its inaugural year, WIFM delivered several impactful programs:
• Launch Attract, Elevate and Empower session 2025 Fleet Education and Leadership Summit where inspiring WIFM shared their personal stories.
• Empowering Women in The Workplace Course: In July and Sept, 37 women undertook this all-day webinar, conducted by Swinburne Edge-Swinburne University of Technology. It helped participants identify the beliefs that were holding them back from achieving their personal goals and offered practical ways to increase influence and personal power.
• The Drive through Discomfort Webinar in Dec addressed the causes of imposter syndrome and how to overcome self-doubt.
• The Fleetdrive Interview series shared inspiring stories of women to highlight opportunities in the industry and show what is possible.
• 50 % of the participants of the AfMA Mentoring Program were women participating as both mentees and mentors.“ My mentor was great and very knowledgeable. Every meeting I learnt something new personally and professionally”“ I feel accomplished in setting and achieving goals and strengthened my leadership skills”
Looking Ahead: 2026 Initiatives:
Building on these 2025 successes, WIFM is launching exciting new initiatives in 2026: Drew outlines:“ In the short term, we’ re finalising the International Women’ s Day breakfast and speaker and shaping an AI webinar, so members feel tech ready. The new WIFM Award will spotlight more women— especially in middle management— so the pipeline keeps flowing.”
“ A new pilot for a peer group connection program will bring women and men facing challenges into a safe facilitated space where they can connect and learn.
Drew outlines the benefits:“ Because confidence grows in rooms where we can test ideas, admit doubts, and swap practical tactics without judgement. Those spaces turn“ I’ m not sure I can” into“ Here’ s how I will”— and you leave with allies you can call tomorrow”
