Vitesco smart charging provider The Mobility House has partnered with zero-emission telematics and fleet management firm Sycada .
The deal will enable the integration of The Mobility House ’ s intelligent Charging and Energy Management System , ChargePilot , into Sycada ’ s platform , enabling fleet operators to manage EV charging operations efficiently and in harmony with the grid .
ChargePilot enables customers and partners to intelligently control charging processes , while preventing expensive peak loads and keeping operating costs to a minimum . The collaboration will also save fleet operators several hundred thousand euros in service charges .
itesco Technologies is showcasing its innovations for more sustainable and efficient electric driving at the 44th Vienna Motor Symposium .
Its fully integrated electric axle drive platform has been broadened by a new option that features a rotor without permanent magnets , which is part of the externally excited synchronous machine ( EESM ).
The EESM option reduces rotor costs and avoids the carbon footprint associated with mining and processing ores , making it a more sustainable option for customers . The externally excited machine saves electricity per kilometre and lowers the power requirement of the drive by up to 5 % without a mechanic decoupling device .
The company is also exhibiting its Battery Management System , Thermal Management Module , and 48-Volt- System for smaller electric two-wheelers .
Modine Manufacturing Company has launched the EVantage Fuel Cell Stack Cooling Package ( FC-SCP ), a thermal management solution that caters to commercial fuel cell applications .
The FC-SCP uses patented technology to keep fuel cell propulsion systems at optimal temperature levels while minimizing power consumption . Its features include a waste heat recovery system with an all-aluminium coolantto-coolant heat exchanger for cabin heating , a predictive cooling process that reduces temperature swings at the fuel cell stack , and a proprietary heat exchanger technology .
The FC-SCP is a plug-and-play system for rapid integration into fuel cell vehicle chassis , and it is the latest addition to Modine ’ s line of EVantage products designed to meet zero-emission vehicle thermal management needs .
