FLEETDRIVE
 Built in Aggregation
Perth based fleet operating system provider , OviDrive , says that it has built in data aggregation to its standard offering . Chief Growth Officer , Irwan Iriks , says that it was necessary for the system to function as intended .
“ We structure all data into a unified format , allowing information to be easily accessed . Bulk uploads of files such as fuel card transactions can be done , reconciled , audited and actioned all at once .” say Iriks .
Despite their Perth home , OviDrive has had enormous success in Europe where operating in multiple countries with multiple country-of-origin vendors is standard practice . Iriks says this has made effective data aggregation a necessity .
The Problem is not going away
With increasing reliance on fleet managers to take a wider range of responsibilities , it ’ s unlikely that the problems of data aggregation are going away any time soon . Along with tool of trade and benefit vehicles , fleet managers often need to manage novated leases and salary packaging , increasing the convergence between HR and fleet .
Time constraints mean that line by line review of data is just not practical and system solutions are required . Fortunately , the cost of these have fallen heavily in recent years and the answer might be at the end of a phone call .
