Like Jupiter, Hydrogen and Helium are the main component in the
making of the planet and there are abundant water vapors and
methane in the atmosphere. It is expected to receive more detailed view
on NASA’s 2018 James Web Space Telescope mission. It is common
in the universe that unlike our single star based solar system, there
are many systems with more than one star. About 50 to 60% of stars
near to our solar system are twin stars’ and out it at least 10% is
identified as having planets formed around it, as per the latest
information. There are systems having more than two stars also. But
HD131399A is the first directly-imaged stars’ system.
The orbital nature of the planets and components for its formation in
multi-star systems are different from that of single star systems
like our solar system. The life of these stars’ systems are
comparatively less because of the unstable orbit. It is common in these
systems that the planet being tear apart or thrown out of the system
because of the star’s gravitational pull. We are yet to identify the
orbital path of this new planet HD131399Ab and not even know if it
is moving out of the system. If so, then the planet HD131399Ab will
become one among the billions of wandering planets in the universe.
