Qualified AAT assessor Sept 06. Also responsible for marketing in the local office including website
updates. Assisting with course ideas, pricing structures, looking at competition and examining how to tackle
problem courses and attracting students at entry level.
Assisting with ideas to improve KPI reporting. Involved in producing letters to employers for bi-annual mail
shot. Assisted at CIMA P7 quality meetings. Written questions for study material CIMA P4. Aug 2006
involved in Oxford Brookes DVD promotion with ACCA.

Turnover 7million. Manufacture and distribution of lighting control equipment.
Joined the company as turnover reached one million with a brief to help grow the company to three million.
This was reached by April 1999. During September 1999 to help grow the company started search for
acquisition targets.
Started negotiations for merger with manufacturing company in Wales and acted as a broker between the
two groups of shareholders. Succeeded in closing negotiations during spring 2000. The new facility enabled
us to develop our own products.
We embarked on developing a complete new product range. During this period was involved in
transforming accounting and administration functions in Wales and producing business plans and funding
for the new product range. Existing suppliers dropped in Jan 2001 and new products launched in March
2001.
In July 2002 in addition to the FD responsibilities was given the MD role to implement a survival strategy
plan, to prevent company going into liquidation. During August 2002 completed acquisition of French
subsidiary, which helped disperse the rumours in the market place of financial difficulties.
Went to the US to negotiate the purchase of a new product into a new market segment.
Launched into the UK June 2003.
