Clay Speaker had a rough start to the
year having to retire then his gelding from
riding, which is a hard thing for any
horseman to go through. He went on to
work on learning to train his own Peruvian
and helping to ride and present other
Peruvian horses for Phantom Dragon
Ranch. Clay rode in many parades, show
and trail events with many clubs and was
a huge help at many large events
explaining the Peruvian horse to people.
He was often the one out giving rides to
people so they could try a Peruvian. Clay
rode in performance presentations at the
Rocky Mountain Horse Expo and the
Boulder Horse Ballet along with other
presentations throughout the year. He
completed 127 hours for his NAPHA
Junior Horsemanship log. His favorite
things to do for the year was ust to go out
and ride horses with his sister rr ll and
good friend Micah!
