Clay Speaker had a rough start to the year having to retire then his gelding from riding, which is a hard thing for any horseman to go through. He went on to work on learning to train his own Peruvian and helping to ride and present other Peruvian horses for Phantom Dragon Ranch. Clay rode in many parades, show and trail events with many clubs and was a huge help at many large events explaining the Peruvian horse to people. He was often the one out giving rides to people so they could try a Peruvian. Clay rode in performance presentations at the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo and the Boulder Horse Ballet along with other presentations throughout the year. He completed 127 hours for his NAPHA Junior Horsemanship log. His favorite things to do for the year was ust to go out and ride horses with his sister rr ll and good friend Micah! started the year determined to become a more accomplished rider and to help her friend icah ride more and she accomplished her goals. he competed in her first ACTHA ride aboard her Peruvian gelding Altivo mprevisto to win the unior ivision, which put her as ACTHA High Point unior for Colorado. rr ll moved onto riding several of the Peruvians aside for performances and learning full drill routines often changing horses and attire to ride in several performances at each event. She often rode both astride an aside in parades and shows for the year. She was the High Point Junior Rider with Altivo at the Mile High Gaited Horse Show and the youngest rider in the division. She was Active with NAPHA for the year completing 139 hours in the Junior Horsemanship log. She also participated in the NAPHA Joy of Riding Open horse show points, High point Parade Horse and High Point Exhibition Horse.
