The only youth ambassadors for the Peruvian Paso breed in Colorado, these kids could not be stopped! They presented their horses with a pa ssion and brought their love of the Peruvian horse to others. From trail riding, parades, show and musical exhibition, to training, feeding, grooming and general care, they did it all, no matter what the odds were. They were active in the North American Horse Association (NAPHA) Youth program and Participated in the NAPHA Joy of Riding High Point program. They were all members of the Lakewood Riding Club and the Mile High Gaited Horse Club as well. They attended functions with these and other horse clubs always representing the Peruvian Horse with a fire that brought others in to learn more about this amazing breed and the kids that had such passion for them. Micah Bialy had a passion for all animals, but he especially loved his Peruvian Paso mares, Vista del Dragon and ERB Cadencia de Acierto. He began riding Vista shortly before he was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2010. In May 2012, he was diagnosed with terminal brain and spine cancer reoccurrence. Enduring the pain and other complications, Micah made sure to spend time with his horses for a short ride or just to hang out and be with them for an afternoon. He amazed everyone when he was out of the wheelchair and back in the saddle, riding Cadencia and showing her at the Mile High Autumn Classic 3day horse show in September. Micah spent time working on the NAPHA Junior Horsemanship Program and the Joy of Riding High Point program. He was planning to be back in the saddle on Vista in November, but on November 8, he went home to be with the Lord.
