Ready to hit their opponents in the mouth, Johnson and the players understand the patience needed with the youth.

“ At times, we’ re gonna look really young and it could get frustrating,” said Johnson.“ But at times, it’ s gonna click and it’ s gonna be really exciting.”

A reason behind the excitement for Millsap is Camarillo’ s belief that 2025 features the most athletic group they have seen.

Johnson mentioned the vast age gap and the possibility of around 13 positions out of the 22 on the field that could feature sophomore starters.

Feeling locked in and disciplined as a senior class of less than a dozen, the seasoned veterans put a great amount of belief in the youth.

“ They put their nose down, get to doing it, giving it their all,” said Clay about the young Bulldogs.

Although the juniors won’ t have a major impact in quantity, the quality of play from players such as Levi Tippie, Cory Goen, Kaden Martinez, Josh Hopper and Tyson Johnson is on the coach’ s radar.
