ANCIENT CITY COWS OF LA FLORIDA Live Andalusian cattle, descendants of Pedro Menéndez de Avilés’s original stock, will be showcased at the Colonial Quarter from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. VILANO BEACH 450TH HAPPY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION & SUNSET CELEBRATION Vilano Beach is celebrating the 450th commemoration with a birthday celebration from 2-4 p.m. at the Vilano Beach Pier that will include a walking tour and special events. The Sunset Celebration will take place afterwards, beginning at 4 p.m. with vendors, music and entertainment. The city’s fireworks can be viewed from the pier. MENÉDEZ LANDING REENACTMENT At 9 a.m., the annual, historical re-enactment of Menéndez’ landing and anniversary commemoration will be presented by Florida Living History, Inc.’s volunteers at the traditional site of Menéndez’ landing – Mission Nombre de Dios, 27 Ocean Ave. in St. Augustine.
