“ Arthur Ellison could talk for England. One night he got his jaw broken in a fight outside a pub, that shut him up for a while and, unable to speak, he resorted to writing. It was good so he kept at it. He wrote for Brookside, Hollyoaks, The Street, Accused and Moving On. His scripts were always about real people facing real problems in real streets, always full of humour and passion and energy. He was a wonderful storyteller.”
