BWRT® provides
answers to some
of the following
questions:
• Why we sometimes can’t stop
ourselves doing things.
• Why we sometimes feel that
we just cannot do something we
would really like to.
• Why we so often limit ourselves
from getting on with life.
• Why we sometimes give up on
something without even trying
properly to do it.
• Why we sometimes fear
something when there’s no real
reason to do so.
• Why some situations ‘trigger’
uncomfortable feelings, even
though we have no idea why.
• Why therapy doesn’t always
work as we want it to.
What will happen in
a BWRT® session?
Each therapist is likely to differ
slightly in their approach, but
will usually start by taking down
some basic details and discussing
what has brought you to see
them. BWRT® is a very private
therapy - your therapist will only
require a minimal amount of
information from you and, unlike
some other forms of therapy, you
will not have to extensively relive
unsettling past experiences. You
do not have to tell the therapist
what you are thinking or share
any intimate personal details, just
enough to indicate what you
want to work with.
What can BWRT® help
with?
BWRT® is an extremely versatile
therapy and can be used to help with
a wide range of issues including:
• Anxieties (including Generalised
Anxiety Disorder)
• Obsessive and Compulsive
Behaviour
• Procrastination and Motivation
• Addictive Behaviour
• Fears and Phobias
• Depression
• Habits
• Anger
• PTSD
A truly accessible
therapy
Since BWRT® does not require a client
to enter a trance state or anything
similar, it is an ideal therapy to use
via Skype or similar platform and this
makes it instantly accessible to people
all over the world who might otherwise
be unable to visit a clinic. To take part
in a Skype session, you will need the

• A Skype account with software
installed on your device
• A reliable internet connection
• A PC, laptop or other device that
can play and send audio and video
• A microphone - one that is built into
a device is fine
• A webcam or similar to capture
video
• A comfortable chair in which to sit
• A quiet place where you will be
uninterrupted during the session
BWRT® does not involve any
form of trance so you will be
completely conscious, but with
your eyes closed, throughout
the process. The process itself is
fairly short, and perhaps most
importantly, BWRT® is a fast
therapy: depending on the
presenting issue, you might only
require one or two sessions,
although more complex issues
could take longer to resolve
