Your next decision will be your preferred level of service on the train itself
and the standard of accommodation at the hotels you stay in during
your trip. All the carriages are domed to maximise the views for every
passenger but the Gold Leaf service offers fully domed windows with
a bi-level dome for viewing upstairs and dining on the lower level with
large picture windows, this includes gourmet meals. Silver Leaf service
offers the oversized domed windows with the meal service in the comfort
of your seat. Alcoholic, non alcoholic beverages and snacks are served
throughout the journey whatever the service level you have chosen.
Breakfast and lunch are both served on board.
The hotels with the Silver Leaf service package are comfortable
properties with restaurants on site or within easy walking distance. Gold
Leaf features luxurious hotels with premium categories, with the Deluxe
Gold Leaf featuring superior views or larger rooms.
Whatever level of service you select you will get unparalleled panoramic
views and a Rocky Mountaineer host to give you the stories, trivia and
facts surrounding your journey and destinations, transfers to and from
your hotel and complimentary baggage delivery. Children are allowed
on the Rocky Mountaineer, however with trips through the Rockies taking
a minimum two eight hour days inboard the train may be too long for
some children.
For our customer we found Economy flights from
Manchester to Vancouver, 2 days on the Rocky
Mountaineer, and a 7 night Holland America Alaskan
Cruise for £2600 per person.
