Most of the new positions to be created across all the sectors are for skilled jobs, with the
exception of Scientific R&D and Technical Testing & Analysis. Majority of the new positions
are for professionals, whereby Science and Engineering Professionals account for the highest
proportion of the new job creation. The ratio of new full-time positions to be created to the
existing full-time workforce for this job category is also relatively high (23%) compared to the
sector average of 15%. Nonetheless, Legal Associate Professional has the highest ratio of new
full-time positions to be created to the existing full-time workforce (52%).
