7.6 Future Workforce Profile
On average, about 40% of the PSA establishments intend to expand their full-time workforce
between Jan 2018 to Dec 2018. Among these establishments that have plans for workforce
expansion, majority of them intend to create up to 5 new full-time positions within this period.
A total of 860 new full-time positions will be created within this period, representing a growth
of 15% compared to the existing full-time workforce. Accounting and Scientific R&D and
Technical Testing & Analysis sectors have the highest ratio of new job creation of 26% and
23% respectively.
