Launch career conversion programmes which can
help job seekers to re-skill themselves to take on new
roles and tasks, especially for critical occupations
within key growth areas in the sector.
Existing conversion programmers can be replicated
across other professional services sectors and expanded
to include high growth areas and experienced job
levels. At the same time, more initiatives need to be
undertaken to raise awareness of these conversion
programmes.

Under the Adapt and Grow initiative, Workforce
Singapore has launched more than 10 Professional

Specifically designed for non-accounting graduates
who are interested to pursue a career as a Certified
Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Accountant
(CA).

Example 3 – Conversion Program for graduates
PwC offers Aspiring Accountants Programme
(AAP) which is designed for non-accounting graduates
to encourage them to embark on a career in accounting.
The AAP is a foundation course to facilitate students
from non-accounting disciplines to be trained and
qualify as Chartered Accountants.
