government stakeholders, regulators and industry
associations should be formed to discuss the
emerging industry trends and identify high
growth areas within each PSA sector. Relevant job
roles and in-demand skillsets corresponding to each
of the identified growth areas as well as new job
specifications should be identified within each
MOHR,
subsector.

The identified emerging skillsets should be also Associations
included in the skills frameworks for relevant
subsectors.

Example
Singapore has introduced Industry Transformation Map
(ITM) for firms in the Professional Services to capture
opportunities in high-growth areas. The ITM is an
integrated plan that will enable firms to innovate, while
preparing them to take on new jobs such as digital
product developers, data modellers and risk advisory
professionals.
