Of the job vacancies across all job categories (refer to Figure 4.12), both Managers and Skilled
Agricultural, Forestry, Livestock & Fishery Workers categories had the highest hard-to-fill vacancies
at 68% each, followed by Technicians & Associate Professionals at 67%. Only Clerical Support
Workers category reported a low percentage of hard-to-fill vacancies at 39%.

When asked on the hurdles for hard-to-fill vacancies for each job categories, lack of applicants was the
primary factor for the hard-to-fill vacancies for semi-skilled and low-skilled employees. For high skilled
job categories, lack of working experience was the most quoted reasons for hard-to-fill vacancies.
