Apart from the normal attrition, other factors such as retrenchment and retirement tend to drive the
talent demand-supply in the market. When examining the reasons of separations by MSIC, it is revealed
that Wholesale & Retail Trade; Repair of Motor Vehicles & Motorcycles sector had the highest
proportion of involuntary separations (10%), followed by Transportation & Storage sector at 8%.
