National Employment Returns (NER) 2018 Analysis by Sector Real Estate sector paid its employees cash incentives close to 53% of their median monthly basic salary, the highest of all sectors, followed by Administrative & Support Service sector with cash incentives close to 35% of their basic salary. On the other hand, Accommodation & Food Service sector paid the least amount of cash incentive to its employee at RM188 per month on average. Overall, 8 out of 18 MSIC sectors paid their employees cash incentive that was below the overall average.
