Cash Allowance
45% of the establishments offered cash allowances to some of its Malaysian full-time employees. On
average, Malaysian full-time employees received a cash allowance of RM394 per month.
Analysis by Establishment Size
In terms of establishment size, Large establishments provided the highest average cash allowance at
median level. When compared to the proportion of cash allowance to the average basic salary, Small
establishments provided a higher median cash allowance to basic salary to its employee.
