Sector Breakdown
Figure 1.23 examines the distribution of employees within the sectors by establishment size. Contrary
to the overall employment pattern, most of the employees in Professional, Scientific & Technical sector
were from Small and Medium establishments while most of the employees from Financial &
Insurance/Takaful, Agriculture, Forestry & Fishing and Information & Communication sectors were
from Large establishments. A higher proportion of employees from Electricity, Gas, Steam & Air-
conditioning Supply sector were from Medium Establishments.
