For my animation Techniques i looked at work from animators like
John Lasseter who worked on cartoons like toy story and cars and i also looked at animation work from Pete Docter who worked on monsters inc and up.
Their work has always inspired me and for my final major project i thought there is no better time to use my inspiration from them to apply to my work.
while animating the messaging part between the two characters in my final major project animation, I used after effects for these scenes.
I first started off my originally planning for the text to be animated moving upwards but then i felt like i t was missing some creativity.
After doing some research online i came across a guy called Dan Ebberts who had tutorials on expressions which is the coding term in after effects. i used his code and tweaked it to my own style to make the text box rotate in instead of just appearing out of nowhere
