CERAMIC COATING COST REVIEW Let’s review the costs associated with ceramic coating a vehicle. STEP 1: Vehicle Detail - $400 (this would include a full interior detail as well) STEP 2: Vehicle Paint correction. The average associated cost: $500 STEP 3: IGL Kenzo Ceramic coating application. The average associated cost: $1200 STEP 4: Ceramic coating maintenance. The average associated cost: $400 THIS WOULD GIVE US A TOTAL INITIAL COST OF $2100. WITH 2-4 ANNUAL COMPLETE FULL DETAILS OF $400 EACH. Now you might look at those numbers and feel that is a lot of money to keep your vehicle looking tip top. Most people would agree that it is a fair amount of money. However, for less than a cup of coffee from your local favorite coffee shop per day, which if broken down is roughly $1.15 per day for the life of the coating, you can protect one of your largest assets for years. Also consider a ceramic coated vehicle when properly maintained will demand a higher resale value, provides longer life to the body and treated surfaces, as well as granting you a much easier means of maintenance… and if none of that matters… a ceramic coating will if nothing else… make your vehicle look absolutely amazing. I’m really starting to think the cost isn’t really a “Con.” What do you think? At the shop we truly feel “If a vehicle is worth purchasing, it’s worth protecting!” It’s probably time to get your vehicle ceramic protected. This happens due to the polishing machine creating heat and loosening the edges of the vinyl. So, unless you have the years of practice polishing a vehicle, we highly recommend not trying to polish a vinyl sticker. † To remove the last 10-15% of the scratches is called jeweling the paint. This is typically done for very high-end vehicles. Typically, museum or show quality vehicles. This generally carries a significant cost as the time required to produce a scratch less surface can and has been known to take days or even weeks depending on the vehicle. The cost to produce this type of a result is generally in the thousands to tens of thousands of dollars. ** Assuming a professional grade ceramic coating was applied by a professional. # Assuming a professional grade ceramic coating was applied by a professional and quality product are used to complete the cleaning process. ¥ This assumes the coated surfaces were properly maintained.
