Connecting to the Battery STEP 28: To finish the install, connect the ARB power leads directly to the battery according to the ARB Twin Compressor Installation Guide. It’s important to use a good set of crimpers and good appropriately sized terminal ends so you get a good reliable connection. You’re dealing with a lot of amps you want to make sure everything is super solid. Heat shrink is a good way to seal everything up to ensure that you don’t get corrosion. We all know how well batteries do against corrosion. So, go ahead and heat shrink the ends and that will seal them, giving us a very good, nice reliable connection for a lot of years. It’s best to ground to the grounding post near the battery rather hose and test it out!! It’s as simple as opening your hood, hook up your air, and turn on the compressor. Do your stuff and just turn it off when you’re done. You’re not in and out of the cab with dirty hands and dirty clothes from airing up. You can just do everything outside under the hood, all in one place and be done with it. We hope you love this kit as much as we do! It took a lot of hard work and time to create something out of a need for ease when off roading. Remember E3 members will have exclusive access to these kits before anyone else!! Be sure to get yours while supplies last!! You won’t regret this one! than to the battery itself. The JL’s are sensitive about grounding so it tends to work best if you just ground to a grounding post. That’s it!! Time to connect your air
