PRODUCT HIGHLIGHT
STEP 14: Reattach the coolant
reservoir and make sure nothing is
stuck or pinched before tightening.
STEP 15: Get your GOR Controls
Bracket and install the ARB compressor
filters onto the leg of it.
STEP 16: Thread the two 1/4” female
NPT x 1/2” male barb fittings onto the
ARB filter nipples and tighten by hand.
There’s no need to use Teflon on
these because they are plastic and
they self-seal, there’s no advantage
there at all. Just hand-tighten them. If
you want to add extra immobilization
you can put a screw into the little
holes, but you don’t have to.
STEP 17: Install the 1/4” NPT x JIC4
90° elbow into the back of the bulkhead
fitting on the switch bracket.
Use thread sealant on the NPT
threads.
STEP 18: Install the breather hoses
onto the corresponding elbows.
Installing the GOR Controls
Bracket
STEP 19: Remove the fender bolt
with a 10mm socket and discard.
STEP 20: Install the GOR switch
bracket using the three M6 x 1.0 x
20mm bolts [10mm]. Torque to
9 Nm [6.6 lb.-ft].
STEP 21: Feed the tubes down to the
compressor and attach. Cut to desired
length if necessary.
STEP 22: Route the GOR harness
through the switch hole in the GOR
switch bracket.
STEP 23: Plug the wires into the back
of the ARB compressor switch. The
BLACK wire goes to the top terminal,
the RED wire goes to the center
terminal and the PURPLE wire goes
to the bottom terminal.
STEP 24: To install, push the switch
into the switch bracket until it snaps
into place.
Connecting the
High-Pressure Side
STEP 25: Install the stainless-steel
air hose onto the JIC4 fitting on the
ARB compressor.
STEP 26: Install the other end of the
stainless-steel hose onto the JIC4
fitting at the bulkhead fitting. No
thread sealant is required since these
are tapered fittings. They just need to
be nice and snug, not overly tight.
STEP 27: Install an air chuck with a
1/4” NPT male nipple into the bulkhead
fitting and make sure to use
thread sealant. We recommend and
prefer using the ARB Pump Up Kit
which includes a nice ergonomic air
chuck.
