The building at 1011 Thannisch Drive , the Mediation Center of Texas , was likely originally a church . Although it is not domestic architecture , the building is a good example of the use of dramatic angles to create unique form .
The house at 1222 Academy Place in Pine Grove Subdivision is one-story dwelling with dramatic roofline and prominent front gable . Ornamentation is minimal , and the design relies on the roof form as the main visual device .
