As a conclusion, there are several issues facing by academic library which are collection, strategic planning is not well
developed, facilities, and budget. However, every problem has
its own solution even how hard the problem is. Regarding to
the problems in an academic library, actually there are a lot of
methods that can be used to solve the problems. The management team itself should play an important role to ensure that
the library mission to attract students, to provide best quality
services and in satisfying the users with the service provided
that they can be achieved. In identifying the problem causes,
the management team has to do a brainstorming session and
discuss about the development and the issues that the library
and the staff have. The most important thing that they should
focus is, they should discuss on what their user wants from
the library such as they can make a survey. By doing this, the
library can identify the problems regarding why there’s only a
small number of students that come to the library so that they
can try to find a solution on how to attract the user to come to
the library such as they can make public relation, make an improvement to the facilities and services such as more computer, infrastructure, more study room, carrel room, facilities for
the disabled person and have suitable and updated collection
to meet the need of the users.

of library services to the stakeholder. . The budget is important in the development of the library such as for staff training,
customer training, to publicize the library, for their public relation, to purchase the library collection, to improve service and
facilities in term of to purchase computer and comfortable
furniture.
However, in order to manage this problem, the relationship with the stakeholder, potential customers, customers, suppliers and partners are very important because they
are library’s valuable intangible assets that can contribute to
the budget and library development (Kostagiolas, 2009). That
means the library staff can participate in information network
organized by other academic library, electronic journal, information services and publishers in order to be close to them to
expand the relationship with them. By this, the library staff
can gain access to a document and then can acquire the document itself. Other than that, trustworthy relationships between
employees and stakeholders also important because the library
will pass to the stakeholder to monitor the achievement of
the library based on the strategic planning. So, based on the
achievement of the library, the stakeholder will give the library
an opportunity to make an improvement by giving budget so
that the user will be more satisfied by the services given.
