The course will allow you to gain an understanding of knowledge and practical hand skills within a construction related environment , to allow you to be employed by local or regional construction businesses . This SCQF level 5 programme will develop your hand skills with regards Trowel Trades which are required to be completed within large or small construction projects .
Entry Requirements
One of the following :
Certificate : Construction Futures
National 5 Practical Craft Skills at Grade C or above , plus four National 4s including Maths and English
Relevant industry experience and / or other qualifications will be considered on an individual basis

National Certificate : Architecture with Interior Design

This is a practical design course which aims to introduce you to the essential key skills required to begin a career in the design industry . You will be encouraged to develop imaginative and creative ideas while working on a series of design projects . You will learn how to research and source relevant information for interior design materials , finishes , and products . There will be a strong emphasis on developing a wide range of drawing and model making skills and techniques . During the course you will carry out a variety of design projects related to architecture , interior 3D spaces and scenarios .
Entry Requirements
Two units / subjects at B or higher at SCQF Level 5 in subjects including :
Art and Design
Graphic Communication
Product Design
Craft and Design
PLUS , one of the following :

This course is intended for those who want to develop knowledge , understanding and skills relevant to careers within the Construction and Built Environment and for those that may be currently working in , or desire to work in , this industry . This is an ideal course if you want to progress on to the HNC / HND and pursue a career in Quantity Surveying , Architectural Technology , or Construction Management positions .
Entry Requirements
One of the following :
Three National 4s and two National 5s at Grade C or above which must include Maths and English
A relevant course at SCQF Level 5 in either construction or engineering and SCQF Level 5 Maths : Craft 1 ( F3HV11 )
Relevant industrial experience or other qualifications will be considered on an individual basis
